Laws in Regards to the use of Cannabis Marijuana in Mexico
Mexico has recently legalized cannabis for adult recreational use. Here are some key points of the current laws:
Individuals who are 18 years or older can possess and use up to 28 grams of cannabis and grow up to 6 cannabis plants for personal use at home.
Public consumption of cannabis is not allowed.
Cannabis products with more than 1% THC are only available to registered medical patients.
Selling cannabis without a license is illegal and can lead to fines or imprisonment.
Driving under the influence of cannabis is illegal and can lead to fines or imprisonment.
The sales of 420 are prohibited but the none transactional transfer is not.
